FAQs

Who are the Cancer Crushers?

We are a group of kids, ages 8-11, participating in the Northwest Tarrant County Relay For Life on April 16, 2010. We are raising funds by collecting and recycling aluminum cans in the Fort Worth area. All proceeds are donated to American Cancer Society.

What is Relay for Life?

Relay For Life is a life-changing event that brings together more than 3.5 million people to:

  • Celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer. The strength of survivors inspires others to continue to fight.
  • Remember loved ones lost to the disease. At Relay, people who have walked alongside people battling cancer can grieve and find healing.
  • Fight Back. We Relay because we have been touched by cancer and desperately want to put an end to the disease.

I have some cans I would like to donate. Where can I drop them off?

Find out how you can help.

How can my business become a drop-off location?

Please contact us and let us know where you are located. We would be happy to advertise your business on our blog as a drop-off location.

Do I need to rinse out the cans before I drop them off?

No. However, it would be nice if you could as they could attract bugs.

Do you take “adult” beverage cans?

Absolutely… as long as they are empty.
