About
We are the CANcer Crushers. We are a group of kids (ages 8-11) participating in the Northwest Tarrant County Relay For Life in Saginaw, Texas on April 16, 2010.
Why We Participate
We have seen first-hand how many of our friends and family have fought the battle against cancer. We’ve seen their struggles, fears, tears, and celebrations as they have gone through each phase of this dreadful disease. We have celebrated their wins as well as mourned their losses. We believe that one day we will find a cure for this horrible disease. However, we know there is still much research to be done. But without funding, there will be no research.
What We are Doing
We are joining the battle against cancer by participating in Relay For Life. To raise money, we are collecting and recycling aluminum cans. We are the “CAN”cer Crushers. All proceeds to to American Cancer Society. By doing this, we are also saving our environment.
We Need Your Help
If you live in the Fort Worth area, you can save your aluminum cans and drop them off at one of our drop-off locations.
If you don’t live in our area, you can still save and recycle your aluminum cans and send the proceeds to our team.
